Jeevandan Foundation is a multi-purpose organization officially registered on September 23, 2020, under the Societies Registration Act of 1860. Located in Pune, India, the foundation operates from the address: S. No. 112/B, Jai Ganesh Vishva, Alandi Road, Vishrantwadi, Pune 411015. The organization’s management is vested in an executive board, which has a five-year term. Its diverse objectives include:
Social & Community Initiatives: The foundation aims to conduct public awareness campaigns against harmful social customs and superstitions, and it promotes literacy and adult education. It is also committed to environmental sustainability through tree planting and conservation efforts. The organization provides assistance to those in need, including the homeless, disabled, and other vulnerable groups
Educational Programs: Jeevandan Foundation plans to establish and manage educational institutions from pre-school to higher secondary and even professional colleges, including those for engineering and medicine. A key part of its educational mission is to provide free books and supplies to orphaned and poor students
Medical & Health Services: The foundation works to provide healthcare facilities to the poor and sick. It organizes various health camps, including those for blood donation, and aims to start mobile clinics and medical centers. The organization also focuses on public health awareness campaigns regarding issues such as AIDS and family planning
Arts, Sports & Culture: The foundation promotes various arts like music, dance, and painting by running free training centers. It organizes different sports tournaments, including wrestling and Kabaddi, to help develop athletes at national and international levels. The foundation also hosts cultural events and national festivals.
The founding members of the executive board include Sarjerao Bhikaji Waghmare as President, Rinu Kadavil Rajan as Vice-President, Omkar Mohan Sonawane as Secretary, and Akash Balu Wadavrao as Treasurer
